Does your pet have a special talent? Or maybe your pet just has a personality that’s similar to a human’s.  No matter what the case is, we like to think of our pets as more than animals.

When I read an article about a sniffing beagle that found bedbugs using its nose, it made me start to wonder what other special talents our pets could have.  And it’s not like this was just a fringe hiring.  High end New York City retailer Bergdorf Goodman has hired the beagle to hunt for them.

There are plenty of jobs out there for animal lovers.  People automatically think of being a veterinarian, but there’s plenty more to the spectrum.  And if you animals happen to be talented, they can always find work in showbiz or help out the disabled.

Next time you look at your pet, think about them as so much more than just a companion, they would possibly help humanity, even without being a human!
